During the fourth quarter of 2003, Simon increased its ownership interests in
Kravco Investments L.P. (KI), a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based owner of
regional malls, and Kravco Company (KC), its affiliated property management
company.
Simon's ownership in KI now approximates 80% and in KC is 50%. Members of the
family of Arthur Powell, one of the original founders of the Kravco companies,
owns the remaining interests. KI has been renamed Kravco Simon Investments
(KSI) and KC was renamed Kravco Simon Company (KSC), to reflect the new
ownership.
